The Lovers Collection was created as a celebration of love, balance, and connection — inspired by the natural elements and sacred stories of Hawaiʻi.
Each shade honors the relationship between Pele, ʻŌhiʻa, and Lehua, symbols of passion, resilience, and devotion woven deeply into island culture and landscape.
This collection is not about trends or perfection.
It is about honoring natural beauty, emotional depth, and the quiet strength found in authenticity.
The Story Behind the Shades
In Hawaiian tradition, Pele — the volcano goddess — fell in love with a handsome warrior named ʻŌhiʻa. When he did not return her affection, Pele transformed him into a tree. His beloved Lehua, heartbroken, was turned into a blossom that grows upon him.
To this day, the ʻōhiʻa tree and lehua flower remain intertwined — a reminder that love, once formed, is never truly separated.
From this story, three shades were born:
Pele — A bright modern red, inspired by fire, creativity, and bold expression.
ʻŌhiʻa — A soft cocoa brown, grounded and steady, representing strength and balance.
Lehua — A raspberry red, vibrant and floral, symbolizing love and vitality.
Together, they tell a story of passion, endurance, and connection.
More Than Makeup
The Lovers Collection was designed to be both color and care.
Each tinted balm is handcrafted on Maui using grass-fed tallow, nourishing butters, and natural mineral pigments. The formula melts seamlessly into the skin, offering sheer, buildable color while supporting moisture and comfort.
These are balms meant to be lived in — worn on sun-warmed cheeks, wind-kissed lips, and eyelids catching golden hour light.
